It has been said that in Unity we have two text books, the Bible and a Unity classic written by early metaphysician H. Emily Cady, LESSONS IN TRUTH.  Between those two books, one has a guide to a healthy, happy, wealthy way of life pretty much covered.

Dr. H. Emily Cady was a homeopathic physician and a student of Emma Curtis Hopkins, the teacher of teachers.  It is felt that LESSONS IN TRUTH closely follows the lectures and teachings of Emma Curtis Hopkins. H.Emily Cady proved those Truth principles that she learned from Emma Curtis Hopkins by applying them in her life.  She then wrote her thoughts and ideas about those beautiful Truth principles in LESSONS IN TRUTH.

For the next several weeks, I will be speaking of these Truth principles in Weekly Wisdom------Soooooo hope you enjoy.

Before we get started let me tell you about a few beliefs I have.

I believe life is an inside job, everything begins within.  I believe we live life from center to circumference, not the other way around. I believe that Jesus Christ came to teach us a spiritual system.  A spiritual system that is based on a loving, caring, giving power that is greater than we are, God the Good omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent.   God the Good, all powerful, all knowing, and everywhere equally present.  A spiritual system that tells us that God loves us and cares for us, every step of our way.

Jesus tells us, “I came that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”   ---John 10:10    It is said that more abundantly means a life filled with an abounding fullness of absolute love, joy, peace, health, happiness, prosperity, success, confidence and a general sense of overall well-being in every area of our lives.

Jesus also said that we can follow his example and do what he did and even greater things.  “I tell you the Truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing.  He will do even greater things than these…”   ---John 14:12     Jesus came as an example, an example for us to follow, a teacher of a new spiritual system of Truth that would bless the world.
