NEED HELP?
Hello there, friends of Unity of Joy of Life!
So in the 1980s, there was this thought that it was probably not a good idea to pray or meditate on a metal chair. Well, let me tell you something, God can get through a metal chair. In Unity, we believe that with God all things are possible. So, God can get through a metal chair. It’s okay to pray or meditate on a metal chair, y’all! Which brings me to today’s subject. And that is the most powerful prayer that you can pray - one word - help. When we get to that place of just sweet surrender and we just ask God for help, we get ourselves out of the way and something bigger can happen.
So help is just a surrender word and it is a wonderful prayer to pray. Are you in need of help today? Maybe physical help? Maybe you are in need of help with a relationship? Work? Paying your bills? Whatever it might be - help is a great word.
So, one of the things I thought we would do today is to just have a moment of prayer. For those of you that are tuning in, I just want you to not only think of your own prayer, but for all those that will be also watching this video - because in one way we’re all one - and we’re connected with energy. We are going to pray for each other, and for ourselves. If you feel like closing your eyes - that’s fine - and if you want to keep them open, that’s okay too. So, with that, let us just take a moment of prayer.
Take a moment to connect with all of those that are also going to be watching this video. And just know that they too are children of God wanting some help. Take a moment to realize that there’s not a spot where God is not. God is everywhere present - right here - right now. God is greater than any circumstance - mightier than any condition.
So take a moment - recognize that there is a Power and a Presence that loves you and adores you.
And then ask that Power for help.
We are faith keepers for each other, so in your own mind’s eye - just take a moment - send your faith to all those that are praying for help with this video right now.
And so what we know - right now - is that your prayer is answered, and all is well.
With this, we say Amen, and Amen. Thank you, God.
Until next time, I’m keeping the faith for you.
God bless you.
